Kon-Tiki Across the Pacific by raft is what I am currently reading. It is by Thor Heyerdahl. So I have finished this book and what It is basically about is that Thor wanted to test the theory of that pre-Inca Peruvians settled in the Polynesian Islands. To test this Thor and six other sailors sailed traveled, by raft, from South America to Polynesia. So this book is basically about his travels and arrivals. I think the book was ok it sure added extra suspense when exciting moments would happen because it really did happen in real life, it's not fiction. I think the author wrote this to share his experiences and obviously to help prove his theory of pre-Inca Peruvians that inhabited Polynesia. I think the theme is action because some exciting real-life moments occure. I think the best charactor is Thor and he has only changed in that i think he is more thankful for the life he has. My question for the book is I really wonder if some of these events where dramtically altered to make the book more exciting?
