Ben Ranard Call of the Wild

The book I am reading is Call of the Wild by Jack London. He wrote this because he was a hobo. I am at page 50 about. So far the dog has gotten taken and he grows big and tough because he has had to fight other dogs. I think it is a little boring because the start of book are always like that. I think this was his motivation because he did not have anything. I don't know what the theme is yet. The main character is Buck the dog. He has grown up and has gotten stronger. I don't have any questions at this point. I don't know any quotations yet either.
